Friday, February 13th, at the Teatro/Cinema Bernina in Chiesa in Valmalenco, the Carnival will not just be a celebration, but an opportunity to gather around a stage. After the summer experience of the Festival TAQ 2025, the project returns to engage the entire valley with an evening that unites youth, theatrical tradition, and international breath.

An event designed for all ages, where the audience is not just a spectator, but a vital part of a collective moment.

8:00 PM — Our Heroes

Kicking off the evening will be 60 students from Scuola Secondaria di Primo Grado P. Sigismund, protagonists of a performance born from an intense workshop experience and staged by Tibor Bricalli and Salvatore Franco, directors and creators of the project.

After days of work, rehearsals, and discussions, the kids will take the stage to present an event tailored for them, the result of a theatrical experience that has challenged them in front of their own community.

Not just theater, but an experience that leads them to step up in front of their own community, transforming the stage into a place of growth, courage, and participation.

9:15 PM — The Traffic of Pantalone

The evening continues with the French company La Parole Rouge, coming from Avignon, which will present a lively Commedia dell’Arte in masks. With irony, rhythm, and social conflicts, popular tradition is renewed and becomes a fun and sharp mirror of the present.

The Spirit of Carnival

Carnival has always been the time when roles are reversed, masks speak, and the community recognizes itself. This evening gathers that spirit and brings it to the theater, where celebration becomes culture and culture becomes a meeting.
