The two events promoted by the Municipality of Sondalo and the Planning Office of the Alta Valtellina Mountain Community, in collaboration with the Cooperativa Stella Alpina, within the initiative “Accompagnare, sostenere e camminare insieme” have successfully concluded, witnessing a great participation of citizens, operators, and volunteers.
The first meeting, dedicated to the role of the support administrator, offered valuable insights into the importance of combining regulatory aspects with the humanity and closeness necessary for those experiencing fragile situations.
The second appointment, particularly well-attended and rich in testimonials, represented a moment of strong emotional and community involvement. Active volunteers in the area shared their experiences, showcasing the concrete value of daily solidarity and demonstrating how civic engagement can make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable people.
These two moments of discussion represented an important opportunity to reflect together on how to strengthen the social support network, placing at the center the value of relationships, proximity, and shared responsibility. A heartfelt thanks to all the speakers, the volunteers who participated, and all attendees for their active and passionate contribution.
"These meetings have demonstrated how strong and present in our communities is the desire to listen, share, and take care of others.
It is only through discussion, participation, and the building of real networks that we can collectively face fragilities and create a more supportive and welcoming territory. Starting from this path, we will continue to promote moments of encounter and in-depth exploration, confident that only by walking together can we truly make a difference in building a community that is increasingly attentive, inclusive, and supportive."
