Here is the Ordinance no. 14 of 23/01/2026 regarding traffic management in Bormio during the Olympic period.
Inside, all changes to circulation are indicated, along with parking and transit bans, specifying the days and times of validity. You will also find information about the Traffic Filters, the access control points ZTL 1 and 2.

ORDINANCE NO. 14 OF 23/01/2026
Proposing service: LOCAL POLICE SERVICE, TRADE AND PRODUCTIVE ACTIVITIES, FOREST MANAGEMENT
SUBJECT: TEMPORARY REGULATION OF CIRCULATION AND PARKING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BORMIO ON THE OCCASION OF THE XXV WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES MILANO CORTINA 2026 – MEASURES.
WHEREAS that from the day 04 to the day 22 of February 2026, the Municipality of Bormio will host the competitions related to the XXV Winter Olympic Games;
CONSIDERING that, for organizational needs, public safety, and traffic regulation, it is necessary to adopt measures for traffic and parking management even on the days preceding the official start of the competitions, with differentiation between the Pre Games-Time, Games-Time, and Competition Days;
NOTED that during the technical meetings held at the Prefecture and the Police Headquarters of Sondrio, as well as following requests from the Milano – Cortina Foundation (transport sector), specific needs for traffic regulation have been identified to ensure safety, public order, and fluidity of flows for athletes, stakeholders, and spectators;
ACKNOWLEDGING that the activation of the SEC (security perimeter) will result in the prohibition of transit on Via Funivia, and therefore, substantial modifications to traffic in the area and on competition days are necessary, instituting additional measures related to safety themes (Tunnel for Piatta) and Venue approach;
CONSIDERING that, moreover, on competition days the goal is to ensure a safe and continuous pedestrian flow for spectators, reducing the interference between vehicular traffic and pedestrian pathways;
ACKNOWLEDGING that the measures outlined in this ordinance are detailed in the attached plans and in the competition calendar, which constitute an integral and substantial part;
CONSIDERING articles 5, 6 and 7 of Legislative Decree April 30, 1992, no. 285 (Highway Code) and the relevant Implementation Regulation;
TAKING INTO ACCOUNT the minutes of the Technical Tables held with the participation of competent authorities, in which the measures for traffic regulation and access to the affected areas were agreed upon, in order to ensure the protection of public safety, traffic, and the regular conduct of the Olympic events;
SEEN the decree of the Mayor no. 22 of 15.09.2025;
Via Castellazzi Virginia (from the intersection with via don Silvio Bertola to the roundabout)
a) From January 27 to February 22, 2026, a ban on parking with forced removal of vehicles is established.
b) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, from three hours before the start of the competition until the start time itself, transit is prohibited for all vehicles except those assigned to the organization of the Olympic Games.
Via Don Silvio Bertola
a) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, from three hours before the start of the competition until the start time, transit is prohibited for all vehicles except those assigned to the organization of the Olympic Games; a ban on parking with forced removal of vehicles is also instituted.
Via Don Carlo Gnocchi
a) From January 27 to February 22, 2026, a one-way traffic direction is established for vehicles, on the stretch of road between the S.S. 38 roundabout and the access to the supermarket "Le Corti," traveling from the S.S. 38 roundabout towards the supermarket entrance.
Via Funivia
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, access to unauthorized vehicles is prohibited on the stretch of road in front of the Ski Stadium area.
b) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a one-way traffic direction is established for vehicles, on the stretch between the "Hotel Derby" roundabout and the roundabout at the intersection with via Serravalle, with traffic directed from the "Hotel Derby" roundabout to the via Serravalle roundabout.
Via Atleti Olimpionici e Azzurri d'Italia
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a one-way traffic direction is established for vehicles with a direction from via Serravalle to via Btg Morbegno.
Via Btg Morbegno
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a one-way traffic direction is established for vehicles with a direction from via Atleti Olimpionici e Azzurri d'Italia to via Funivia.
Via Parri
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a one-way traffic direction is established for vehicles from via Btg Morbegno to the via Serravalle roundabout.
Via Valleccetta
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a two-way traffic direction is established, exclusively for vehicles needing to access the driveways present, and a ban on parking with forced removal of vehicles is instituted along the entire affected stretch.
b) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for all vehicles is established from three hours before the start of the competition until one hour after its end.
Via Coltura
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, for vehicles weighing over 7.5 tons, a two-way traffic direction regulated by a traffic light is established. For all other vehicles, circulation remains unchanged.
b) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a ban on parking with forced removal of vehicles is instituted.
Access/exit management for Tunnel per Piatta
Vehicles exiting the tunnel on via Per Piatta are required to merge into via Zenoni.
Vehicles coming from Ponte di Combo and heading towards the tunnel on via Per Piatta must follow the following route: via Coltura, via del Santo Crocefisso, piazza del Santo Crocefisso, and via S. Antonio, until reaching the entrance of via Per Piatta.
Via Per Piatta (the segment between the intersection with via Funivia and the intersection with via Zenoni)
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a one-way traffic direction for vehicles is established from via Funivia to via Zenoni.
b) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from two hours before the start of the competition until one hour after its end.
Via Zenoni
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a one-way traffic direction for vehicles is established from via Per Piatta to via S. Antonio.
b) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from two hours before the start of the competition until one hour after its end.
Tunnel on via Per Piatta
a) On the days of February 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban inside the tunnel is established from two hours before the start of the competition until one hour after its end.
Via Federico Federici
a) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a parking ban with forced removal of vehicles is established. New Jersey barriers will be placed along the affected stretch to protect pedestrians.
Passeggiata "Italo Occhi"
a) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for bicycles, scooters, electric micromobility devices, and any other similar vehicle is instituted.
Via Molini
a) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from three hours before the start of the competition until one hour after its end.
b) In the same period, a parking ban with forced removal of vehicles is also instituted.
Via Industrie
a) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from three hours before the start of the competition until the start time itself.

Via Roma
a) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles (including bicycles) is established from three hours before the start of the competition until the start time itself.
b) On these days, loading and unloading is suspended.
c) In the same period, a permanent parking ban with forced removal of vehicles is also instituted.
Vicolo Murchi
a) From January 28, 2026, to February 22, 2026, a transit ban for unauthorized vehicles is instituted.
Via Morcelli
b) From February 1 to February 22, 2026, a parking ban with forced removal of vehicles is instituted.
c) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from three hours before the start of the competition until the start time, and from the end of the competition until one hour after its end.
Via Coltura
a) From the intersection with via del Santo Crocefisso to the intersection with via Funivia on the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from three hours before the start of the competition until one hour after its end.
b) From Ponte di Combo to the intersection with via del Santo Crocefisso on the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from two hours before the start of the competition until the start time, and from the end of the competition until one hour after its end.
Via del Santo Crocefisso
a) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from two hours before the start of the competition until the start time, and from the end of the competition until one hour after its end.
Via Per Piatta
a) From the intersection with via Funivia to loc. Eira on the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from two hours before the start of the competition until one hour after its end.
b) From the intersection with via Coltura to the intersection with via Funivia on the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from three hours before the start of the competition until one hour after its end; a parking ban with forced removal of vehicles is also instituted.
Via Feleit
a) On the days of February 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, a transit ban for vehicles is established from the start of the competition until one hour after its end.
b) In the same period, a parking ban with forced removal of vehicles is also instituted.
a) On the days of February 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 19, 21, 2026, from 07:00 to 16:00, control points will be established for access to the ZTL Zone 1:

Vehicles used for emergency and rescue services, the Local Police Service, and other law enforcement agencies engaged in surveillance and security services, public transport, accredited vehicles in the service of the event organization, and vehicles with the appropriate Pass are excluded from the bans.
The signage will be placed by the organization and the Municipality of Bormio.
The roadway plans and the competition calendar, attached to this ordinance, constitute an integral and substantial part for all legal purposes.
This provision is published in the Official Bulletin of the Municipality of Bormio, on the official website, and communicated through announcements via the Municipality's social channels.
The Local Police Service and other law enforcement agencies are authorized to modify the timings and closure points of the areas prohibited to traffic also due to any postponements, suspensions, or cancellations of the competitions.
The Local Police Command, along with other law enforcement agencies and volunteers from the relevant Associations, is tasked with ensuring compliance with this ordinance.

This provision may be challenged before the Administrative Court of the Lombardy Region within 60 days from notification or full knowledge of it, pursuant to Law December 6, 1971, no. 1034, or alternatively, extraordinary appeal to the President of the Republic, within 120 days from notification or full knowledge of the same provision, pursuant to D.P.R. November 24, 1971, no. 1199.
