Public meeting in Sondrio on December 4 to discuss donation and life testimonies
Sondrio is preparing to host an event dedicated to one of the most delicate and fundamental issues in modern healthcare: organ donation and transplantation.
Wednesday, December 4, at 5:30 PM, the Sala delle Acque BIM (Lungo Mallero Diaz 18 – Sondrio) will host the public meeting “Eroi Anonimi – Il mondo dei trapianti”, promoted by the Gruppo Intercomunale AIDO di Sondrio with the support of BIM.
The event aims to bring attention to the value of donation, the importance of correct information, and the essential role of those who, often in silence and away from the spotlight, save lives through a choice of great generosity.
Speaker of the evening will be Dr. Carla Colturi, nephrologist, who will guide the audience on a clear and accessible journey into the world of transplants, covering clinical data, ethical aspects, and current events in the healthcare system.
Moderating the meeting will be Dr. Marco Marieni, cardiologist.
The evening will be enriched by direct testimonies from transplant patients, giving voice to those who have experienced firsthand what it means to wait, receive, and return to life thanks to a gift.
Admission is free and open to all citizens.
An opportunity to gather information, reflect, and understand why each new commitment to donation can truly become an act of everyday heroism.
