Frontale in Festa for San Lorenzo – Tradition, Taste and Fun

The fraction of Frontale (Sondalo) is getting ready to celebrate two festive days for the celebration of San Lorenzo, the patron of the village. The event, promoted by the Associazione Giovani "Sgangherati", in collaboration with the Parrocchia and the Oratorio San Lorenzo, offers a rich program focused on tradition, good food, and fun for all ages.

Saturday, August 9th, 2025 – Sagra di Frontale (from 4:00 PM)
At the sports field and at the oratory, there will be games, charity lottery, volleyball tournament, and a typical dinner featuring dishes from Valtellina and local specialties, including the special dish “Cornàt in padéla di Frontale”. The evening will come alive with a live performance by the band "Acqua alla Spina", followed by a DJ set and music under the stars.

Sunday, August 10th, 2025 – Feast of the Patron (10:30 AM)
The community will gather at the Chiesa di San Lorenzo Martire for the celebration of the Saint Mass of the Patron, the spiritual heart of the feast.

A unique opportunity to rediscover the authentic soul of Frontale through faith, traditions, and shared joy: “Spread the word and, above all, come visit us!” This is the suggestion from the volunteers (Sgangherati more than ever) and the young people of Frontale committed to helping out during the festivities.
