TASTING IN VALTELLINA 2025: SIX COMMUNITIES FOR AN EDITION IN THE SIGN OF AUTHENTICITY
In September and October, the top enogastronomic event returns to the villages of Lower Valtellina with some new features.
With the arrival of autumn, Tasting in Valtellina returns, the event that has celebrated the enogastronomic culture of the area for over twenty years through taste paths, wineries, courtyards, and historic centers of the villages surrounding Morbegno. The 2025 edition, structured over five consecutive weekends, will involve six municipalities of Lower Valtellina: in addition to Traona, Talamona, Albaredo for San Marco, Mello, and Dubino, Buglio in Monte will also participate again in the event. Its return represents the main novelty of this year, confirming constant growth and increasing participation. The event will start on September 20th and will conclude on October 19th.
The overall coordination of the event is entrusted, as usual, to the Tourist Consortium Porte di Valtellina, while the practical organization of the individual routes is left to the participating municipalities. Among the novelties introduced for the 2025 edition is the agreement to include at least two wines produced in the Morbegno district in each itinerary, in addition to using strictly Valtellinese products, with a view to enhancing local productions.
Overall, it is a consolidated format that has received very positive feedback over the years. Traona, Talamona, Albaredo, Buglio, and Dubino will focus on true taste itineraries, combining enogastronomy with the beauty and tradition of the places visited, while in Mello in Cantina there will be a greater focus on atmosphere and conviviality. Also for the 2025 edition, the program will be enriched with numerous collateral events, including guided tours, live music, and activities for children.
The management of the wineries will once again be handled by local associations, a fundamental presence for the success of the event over the years.
Below is the calendar of all the itineraries:
SEPTEMBER 20/21 and 27/28, TRAONA
