Numbers beyond expectations for Gustosando in Valtellina 2025, the food and wine event that this year involved the villages of Albaredo per San Marco, Buglio in Monte, Dubino, Mello, Talamona, and Traona. In five weekends of events, the six municipalities welcomed approximately 9,000 visitors, confirming the great interest in an event that combines flavors, tradition, and the discovery of the territory. A result that fully satisfied organizers and municipal administrations, demonstrating how the format has become a reference point in promoting the territory of Lower Valtellina and its excellences.

For Mello in Cantina, the second and final Saturday was in line with the first, with record numbers and a captivating atmosphere. “The organization wishes to express sincere gratitude to all the associations, which represent the true soul and driving force of this event – said Fabrizio Bonetti, Vice Mayor of Mello –. A special thanks also to everyone who, with commitment and availability, contributed to the success of an edition that recorded record numbers. Finally, the last weekend of Gustosando in Valtellina also featured Dubino, which captivated the audience with its eight Invölt. “The event had a positive response beyond all expectations; it was fantastic to give value to our land with the help of all the associations in the village – said Davide Ferraro, President of the Nuova Pro Loco Dubino –. In addition to tradition, we thought of organizing something for the younger ones with an evening DJ set, filling the square of the historic center. The feedback from many participants was also positive.” Furthermore, a thought was expressed by Mayor Emanuele Nonini: “Great satisfaction for the result of this edition. Both Saturday and Sunday saw full attendance. But more than the numbers, what counts are the opinions of those who participated, which were all more than positive. Great satisfaction also for the Consorzio Turistico Porte di Valtellina, which confirms the success of an initiative capable of rediscovering Valtellina for tourists and residents. “We have beauties that are unexplored, and Gustosando is one of the initiatives that helps to discover them for tourists, but also for locals, appreciating these places, which have never been valued enough – emphasizes the President Viola Vanini –. This 2025 edition confirmed, with attendance increasing compared to last year, that this event distributed across various municipalities in the district is well received by both local and out-of-province audiences. The municipalities and associations have worked intensively to highlight their realities, and we hope that in the coming years, there will be more and more who decide to participate.”
