The Olympic Torch of the Winter Games Milan-Cortina 2026, besides illuminating the Olympic venues of Bormio and Livigno, will also shine in Media Valtellina, involving the entire area in a great moment of celebration and participation.
The Olympic caravan will indeed cross the main municipalities of the valley, bringing with it enthusiasm, symbols, and values of the Olympic spirit.
Stop in Aprica – Friday, January 30, 2026
The inaugural day of the passage in Valtellina will be in Aprica, where the arrival of the caravan is expected at around 3:00 PM in Piazza Baradello.
After the official stop, the local relay will begin, scheduled from 3:00 PM to approximately 3:30 PM, along a route of 1.75 km. 9 torchbearers selected by the Milano Cortina Foundation will run, carrying the flame through the town center in a moment of great involvement for residents and guests.

The passage of the torchbearers along Viale Italia in Tirano is particularly anticipated, scheduled for the afternoon of January 31, 2026, when the city will host the national route of the Torch.

A symbolic moment that unites communities, sports, and the territory, making the valley the protagonist of the path that will lead us to the Opening Ceremony of the Games.

The passage of the torchbearers in Tirano is expected starting at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
