The exhibition opens in the new spaces of the Biblioteca Elisa Branchi in Teglio

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the Biblioteca Elisa Branchi, Valtellina. The Sense of Wine opens, an exhibition dedicated to the deep connection between wine, the territory, and the Valtellinese community, curated by journalist and sommelier Sara Missaglia.

After the success of the first edition, hosted at Palazzo Besta in Teglio from May 31, 2025, to January 6, 2026, under the responsibility of Director Silvia Anna Biagi and the Direction of Museums of Lombardy – Ministry of Culture, the exhibition project is renewed and finds a new location in the spaces of the municipal library, keeping intact the conceptual and narrative contents that have determined its wide public interest.

The transfer of the exhibition marks the start of a new format, designed to allow the project to continue to live over time and to reach an increasingly broad audience, particularly in view of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, which will bring a significant flow of visitors and tourists to Valtellina.

Even in the new location, Valtellina. The Sense of Wine offers an experiential and cultural journey that tells the story of wine not only as a product but as an identity, landscape, and social expression. A journey that traverses the senses, memory, and knowledge, returning wine as a living heritage of the territory.

The setup, rethought to engage with the spaces of the library, strengthens the link between knowledge, dissemination, and material culture, transforming the Biblioteca Elisa Branchi into a dynamic space for meeting, storytelling, and sharing. The exhibition addresses a cross-sectional audience, inviting residents and visitors to discover – or rediscover – Valtellina through one of its most representative elements.

With this new inauguration, Valtellina. The Sense of Wine confirms its vocation to be an evolving cultural project, capable of adapting to places and times, contributing to the enhancement of the territory and the construction of a contemporary cultural offer that is accessible and deeply rooted.
