Livigno, November 28, 2025 – There is one month left until the first, historic, time Livigno will host the Alpine Ski World Cup, and the countdown could not have started in any other way than with the victory of the Swiss phenomenon, Marco Odermatt.

The Super-G specialty will be the event taking place on the Li Zeta slope in Livigno, and the odds are in favor of the reigning World Cup holder in that specialty (as well as overall), who won yesterday in the first super giant slalom race of this season on the American snow of Copper Mountain.

The podium was completed by Austrians Vincent Kriechmayr and Raphael Haaser, while among the Italians, Guglielmo Bosca, returning to competition after an injury, finished eighth, and Dominik Paris narrowly missed the top ten, placing eleventh, with a delay of 85 hundredths from first place. On December 27, 2025, the stars of the white circus will light up Livigno for an event of historical significance: the first Super G of the World Cup ever hosted by the location. A date that marks a fundamental milestone in Livigno's growth in the high-level winter sports scene.

This appointment comes just a few weeks before the Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026, making the December stage a highly interesting opportunity for athletes, who will have the chance to compete on a new, technical course set in a mountain context with a high sports and organizational profile.

For Livigno, a destination recognized globally for the quality of its infrastructure and its ability to host international sporting events, the Super G on December 27 represents a symbolic and strategic moment, uniting sport, territory, and future vision. The countdown has officially begun: -1 month to the Super G of the World Cup in Livigno, an event that will go down in the history of the location.
