Sport climbing is not just a sport, but an opportunity to discover a great passion and experience the mountains authentically. The APT of Sondalo, in collaboration with Guide Alpine Bormio, organizes the Basic Outdoor Climbing Course, an initiative dedicated to children and teenagers aged 6 to 12 years (born between 2013 and 2019), to introduce them to the world of climbing and develop their motor skills in a natural and safe environment.

The course, consisting of 3 practical lessons, will take place on Saturday, October 11, 18, and 25, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, at the cliffs of Migiondo and Verzedo, hamlets of Sondalo. The activities will be led by the Guide Alpine Bormio, who will accompany the young participants in learning the main progression and belaying techniques, always respecting safety and fun.

The cost of the course is 60 €, including activities, alpine guide, and rental of technical equipment (shoes and harness). Participants are required to bring their own personal helmet.
In case of bad weather, the lessons will be rescheduled or moved to the gym of the Palazzetto Polifunzionale di Sondalo.

Registrations are open until October 9, 2025 at the APT Sondalo Office (Via Verdi 2/A) or online at www.sondaloturismo.it. The course will be activated upon reaching a minimum of 8 participants; a detailed program will be provided at the time of registration.
