On Sunday December 7, Sondalo prepares to once again experience the sweet atmosphere of Strade di Cioccolato, the most delicious winter event in Alta Valtellina, now in its twelfth edition. The event is promoted by the Associazione Li Simenza – Giovani Sondalo, in collaboration with APT Sondalo, local associations, and numerous volunteers.

The historic center will transform into a suggestive path through the ancient streets of the town, where participants can immerse themselves in the enchantment of Christmas and discover a stop-by-stop itinerary dedicated to a sweet with ancient origins.

The formula is now tried and tested: entry to the event is free, but for the various tastings and to have the chance to participate in the final prize draw, it is necessary to purchase a ticket (which includes the mug and activities) in advance or on the day of the event. The path will develop in 5 stops along the historical center of Sondalo. Each stop will reserve sweet surprises for you: hot chocolate and more, many sweet surprises await you.

ANIMATION, FUN AND CHRISTMAS MARKETS

The Santa Claus village and entertainment for the little ones with workshops and lots of fun will not be missing. The Elves and the now-unmissable Grinch are waiting for you. Music, entertainment, and many new features will be revealed along the way. To complete the Christmas atmosphere, a street will be entirely dedicated to Christmas Markets, with artisan proposals and gift ideas. It will also be possible to purchase the traditional calendar in Sondalo dialect “Al nòs tacuīn del 2026”.

The event will start at 2:00 PM; the collection of the Pass at the starting stop (via Garibaldi) must be done by 4:00 PM. Tickets are available in advance until Friday, December 5, at the promotional cost of €18, at the Info Point di Sondalo or online at the sites: www.sondaloturismo.it – www.bormio.eu. On the day of the event, tickets will be purchasable for €20 at the reception point.
