This year, on the occasion of the fifth edition of “La Miğiondàra – Castagne e bontà d’autunno”, promoted by APT Sondalo, the Comune di Sondalo and the Associazione Amazzoni ODV confirm their commitment to raising awareness on the topic of prevention, proposing the “Miğiondàra in Rosa”, a solidarity and nature walk that combines health, territorial discovery, and gastronomy. The event, organized in October, traditionally dedicated to prevention, aims to be a moment of aggregation and awareness, but also of well-being and enhancement of the territory.

A new path among nature and local flavors

Participants will meet on Sunday, October 12 at 9:30 AM in the Municipality square of Sondalo, from where the new trekking route, approximately 5 kilometers long, will start. The route will follow a scenic path along the Sentiero Valtellina, towards Grosio, and then rise towards the ancient village of Migiondo, crossing centuries-old chestnut groves and recently recovered and enhanced terraced lands. This is a renewed itinerary, designed to offer participants a genuine experience among nature, history, and tradition. The walk will be guided by Laura Besseghini, Media Mountain Guide (AMM), and Benedetta Sala, naturalist, who will lead participants on a journey enriched with curiosities. At the start, each participant will receive the official event bag, containing the welcome breakfast, gadget, and the BontàPass del Buongustaio.

Taste, conviviality, and solidarity

Upon arrival in Migiondo, participants will be able to immerse themselves in a journey of taste and conviviality thanks to the seven gastronomic stops featuring typical and seasonal products, carefully and passionately prepared by local associations and entities, for an authentic journey through autumn flavors. To enrich the experience, there will also be music, entertainment, and moments of social interaction, to enjoy a Sunday outdoors focused on prevention, well-being, and solidarity.
