Alpine Botanical Garden “Rezia”
An open-air museum of alpine flora
The Alpine Botanical Garden “Rezia” is located in Bormio, on via Giacinto Sertorelli, at an altitude between 1,350 and 1,400 meters. Inaugurated in 1982 at the initiative of botanist Giovanni Fornaciari, the garden covers an area of 14,000 sqm and hosts over 1,500 plant species, about 800 of which belong to the flora of the Stelvio National Park.

The garden is a reference point for the conservation of rare species, scientific dissemination, and environmental education.

- September - October - November 1, 2: every day 9 AM - 5 PM
During the winter period, the garden is closed.
🧒 Activities and Workshops
During the summer season, the garden offers a rich calendar of activities:
- Guided tours: every Thursday from June 13 to September 5, at 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Children's workshops: fun-educational activities for children aged 6 to 10, with different themes each week.
- Thematic workshops: in-depth sessions on poisonous plants, dyeing, herbalism, and gardening techniques.
- Musical events: concerts and entertainment in the garden during the summer.
Participation in activities is free or with a small contribution; reservation is recommended.
