👉 Radici takes place in several towns in Valtellina from August to November 2026 and is a cultural event.

Radici is a distributed festival blending music, art, and landscapes, bringing the area to life with events hosted in churches, auditoriums, cultural spaces, and iconic places in the valley. The program offers workshops, concerts, performances, and meetings designed to enhance local identities and the connection between communities and the territory.

September

• 19 September, 9:00 PM – Chiuro, Church of SS. Giacomo and Andrea
  Echos from the Sixteenth Century with Valtellina Wind Orchestra, conducted by Lorenzo Della Fonte.
• 27 September, 8:30 PM – Berbenno di Valtellina, Basilica of S. Pietro
  To sing the roots with the Di Nota in Nota Women’s Choir.

October

• 4 October, 3:00 PM – Torre di Santa Maria, Ciappanico
  Radici, between play and dance with Zuzana Marletta and Selene Tognoli.
• 10 October, 4:00 PM – Castello dell’Acqua, meeting point in Piazza Roma
  The rediscovered castle with Chiara Biondani, Giuseppe Calliari, Carlo La Manna, and Alessandro Martinelli.
• 16, 17 and 18 October, 3:00–5:00 PM – Caiolo, Multimedia Room of the former dairy
  Cinema and landscape – Course with Elisa Possenti.
  Final presentation on 7 November.
• 17 October, 4:00 PM – Poggiridenti, Torre di Pendolasco
  Radici, plural femininity with Gigliola Amonini and Consuelo Orsingher.

November

• 28 November, 9:00 PM – Castione Andevenno, Auditorium Leone Trabucchi
  Radici and arias, echoes of Europe in our valleys with Ensemble Hortus Consolidae Maior and the soprano Elena De Simone.
