On January 30th, the 54th stage of the Olympic Flame's journey toward Milan Cortina 2026 will pass through Aprica.

There is less and less time until the start of Milan Cortina 2026, and the Olympic atmosphere becomes more tangible every day. Traditionally, the journey of the Olympic Flame marks the approach to the world's most important sports event: a universal symbol of peace, unity, commitment, and sharing the values of sport, which crosses territories and communities, carrying with it a message of collective participation.

During its long journey, the Olympic Flame will officially enter Valtellina on January 30th, passing through Aprica. Here, the Olympic symbol will cross the heart of the village, accompanied by 9 torchbearers. The passage is part of a broader stage that will involve various alpine locations: Cles – Malé / Croviana / Dimaro Folgarida – Madonna di Campiglio – Ponte di Legno – Aprica – Livigno.

Aprica will share this historic moment with the nearby Corteno Golgi, strengthening a territorial bond that is also expressed along the course of the Flame. The passage in the Orobie location will start, in fact, from Piazzale Funivia, exactly in front of the Superpanoramica, the longest illuminated slope in Europe. From here, the Flame will travel along Via Nazionale and then Corso Roma, passing through the center of the village and involving citizens and visitors in a festive and participatory atmosphere.

The entire community will be actively involved in the event: the Pro Loco of Aprica, the Pro Loco of Corteno Golgi, children and teenagers from the kindergarten, primary, and secondary schools, the Ski Schools, and other associative realities will all be ready to contribute to the event, showcasing a united territory in celebrating Olympic values.

The appointment and invitation to everyone is therefore for Friday, January 30th, starting at 2:30 PM, to experience together a moment filled with emotion, pride, and significance: the passage of the Olympic Flame in Aprica, an event destined to remain in the community's memory as a symbol of participation, identity, and Olympic spirit.
