Registrations are open for the Colmen Trail, the first Trail Running race born in the province of Sondrio. The date to mark in the agenda for the event proposed by Team Valtellina on the "magic mountain" that overlooks Morbegno is Sunday, April 19.

Several innovations are in store. The first concerns the starting and finishing location and dining area, which will be the Polo Fieristico di Morbegno, as the Colonia Fluviale is under renovation. The second concerns the race courses: there will be 2, both on the Retic side of the valley. "The longer race will have a distance of 21.5 km and a positive elevation gain of 1340 m - declared Giovanni Tacchini of the organizing committee -. It will respect most of the short course proposed in past years, with the addition of the Cadelsasso ascent. The 2026 novelty is the 12.5 km race with a positive elevation gain of 600 m. A race suitable for everyone, with a scenic passage through the ancient village of Porcido."

Registrations have opened with a participation fee until March 15 of €30.00 for the CT22, while for the CT12 it will be €20.00. From March 16 until the registration closing scheduled for Thursday, April 16, the fees will increase, reaching €35.00 and €25.00, respectively. Also for this edition, a rich race package is expected, including numerous typical Valtellinese products at km 0, super technical gadgets, lunch coupons, online downloadable photos for everyone, refreshment points on the course and at the finish line, and race assistance.

Registrations can be made: online at wedosport.net or at the 3 passi Outdoor store in Morbegno and will close on Thursday, April 16, 2026, or upon reaching 250 bibs for the CT22 and 250 for the CT12. The 2026 edition will be an eco-sustainable race, with fabric marking by La Sportiva, which will be reused, while there will be no plastic in the refreshment points, at lunch, and in the race packages.
