Eden, the Paradise of Pizza and Leavened Goods, offers a weekly event available every Thursday evening, Saturday and Sunday for lunch (minimum two people): Pizza Steps.
You will be offered:
Italian Fritta
fried pizzetta but not greasy, tomato, buffalo cheese, basil, and oregano
Bolognese Cloud
very soft, steamed, with Bolognese ragù, stracciatella of burrata, and parmesan wafer
The Lady in Yellow
RoundClassica with yellow datterino sauce, buffalo cheese in cooking, tuna, and anchovies from Cetara, basil, and oregano
Soft Parma
high, soft, and melt-in-your-mouth, tomato, fior di latte, Parma ham, basil, and oregano
Crunchy Dough
high, crunchy, and light, fior di latte, smoked salmon, ricotta, and pistachio granella

Per parlare della storia del Comune di Cosio Valtellino dovremmo affrontare due filoni: la storia delle frazioni del fondovalle distintamente da quelle dimoranti sul versante orobico. Da testimonianze storiche COSIO risulta essere uno dei centri più antichi della regione. Verso la fine dell'anno 1000 gran parte del territorio di fondovalle apparteneva ai monaci cluniacensi che vi edificarono l'abbazia di San Pietro in Vallate (1078d.C.). Dal XII al XIV secolo fece parte del feudo di proprietà della famiglia Vicedomini, di credo ghibellino e fedele a Federico Barbarossa.
