🧀 Savory Cookies with Gorgonzola and Walnuts: Rustic and Tasty Recipe

Easy to prepare, these little cookies are inspired by savoury shortcrust pastry and are also great as buffet snacks or homemade gift ideas!
📝 Ingredients:
- 100 g of coarsely chopped walnuts
- 90 g of flour
- The tip of a teaspoon of baking powder
- 40 g of soft butter
- 100 g of gorgonzola
- Salt and pepper to taste
👩🍳 Procedure:
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and walnuts, setting aside a handful for final decoration.
- Add the soft butter, the crumbled gorgonzola, a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Start mixing with a fork, then continue with your hands until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Transfer the dough to the work surface and finish working it as if it were shortcrust pastry.
- Form a salamander, slightly flattening the two ends.
- Wrap it in plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for 15–30 minutes.
- Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
- After the resting time, cut the salamander into slices about 0.5 cm thick.
- Roll the edges of the slices in the reserved walnuts and place the cookies on the baking tray, leaving some space between each.
- Bake in a preheated static oven at 180°C for 12–15 minutes.
