This fresh and quick salad is the perfect example of how a few quality ingredients can create a refined and tasty dish. The Bresaola della Valtellina, the Valtellina Casera DOP of medium aging, and the celeriac come together in a crunchy, savory, and light mix, ideal for an appetizer or a summer second course.
Served on a crispy Grana basket, this salad also impresses with its elegant presentation. Perfect for a light yet stylish dinner! 🌿

📝 Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • 120 g of Valtellina Casera DOP (medium aging)
  • 120 g of Bresaola della Valtellina IGP
  • 80 g of celeriac
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon juice (optional)
  • Grana Padano basket for serving (optional but recommended)

👩‍🍳 Preparation

  1. Cut the Valtellina Casera DOP, Bresaola, and celeriac into julienne: they should be in very thin strips.
  2. Gather all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, and, if desired, a few drops of lemon for a touch of freshness.
  4. Serve the salad inside a crispy Grana basket, for an original and tasty presentation.

💡 Extra tips

  • To make the Grana baskets, simply place the grated cheese in a hot non-stick pan to form a disc, let it brown slightly, then lay it over an inverted bowl to shape it.
