- Emmental cheese (or another soft cheese)
- 1 egg
- Bread crumbs to taste
- Grated Grana cheese to taste
- Aromatic herbs to taste (thyme, oregano, rosemary)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Long skewers (or regular ones)
👩🍳 Preparation
- Slice the zucchini into thin slices lengthwise.
- Slice the cheese into thin pieces and place them on each zucchini slice.
- Roll the slices into small rolls and secure them with a long skewer or a regular one.
- Beat the egg in a bowl with a pinch of salt.
- In another bowl, mix together bread crumbs, grated Grana, and the chosen aromatic herbs.
- Dip each skewer first in the egg, then in the flavored bread crumbs.
- Place the skewers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle with a bit of oil.
